Brief info

George sees movement from a directorial point of view. Steps are inspired by pedestrian actions and character response, with the narrative being always the main focus. He has an ability to create high level work on the spot, tailored to the ability of the individual cast members. His work is designed to bring to
life musical orchestration through athletic and rhythmical movement.

Narrative driven – Responsive – Collaborative

  • George trained at Laine Theatre Arts graduating in 2018 with a first-class honours degree. At the end of his training, he was awarded the ‘Theatre Cup’ which is presented to the student considered ‘most likely to make an impact on the industry’ as a result of his choreographic talent. George has worked both as a performer and a choreographer. Performance highlights include ​Singin’ In The Rain​ (worldwide tour) Joseph ​(KHT) and dance captain on ​Jack and the Beanstalk​ (Grand Opera House Belfast).
    • His choreography credits include: ​Dogfight​ (Southwark Playhouse), ​Mountbatten Festival of Music​ (Royal Albert Hall), and Oklahoma! ​(BTA). He was assistant choreographer on Peter Pan (Mayflower Theatre) and has both created and assisted work for Laine Theatre Arts and Arts Ed.
